Application Developer
Biomimetic melanin – from innovation to real-world applications. MelaNova Biosciences AB is a wholly owned subsidiary of the listed biotech company Cyclezyme AB.
We are developing and commercializing an innovative technology based on biomimetic melanin and are now in a phase where the technology will be translated into concrete applications and products. Therefore, we are looking for a committed and curious application developer who wants to be involved in driving this development. Our biomimetic melanin has potential in several areas, including cosmetics, skin care and hair care, medical device applications, materials and bio-based products, water treatment and environmental technology, and new industrial applications.
About you: You have a relevant background in, for example, biotechnology, chemistry, materials science, or related fields. You are curious, solution-oriented and thrive in the borderland between research, product development and commercialization.
Your role will be to identify and evaluate new application areas, develop and run tests and proof of concept, collaborate with labs, researchers and industrial partners, develop applications together with potential customers and contribute to taking the technology from lab and innovation to commercial product.
You will be involved at an early stage and will have great opportunities to influence both how the technology develops and which markets and applications we prioritize going forward. Interested? We are happy to have an initial unbiased and confidential dialogue.
